Most trees originate from Strzelecki in Victoria, Australia. A few trees are of Moogara origin. Due to strong natural selection, trees grown from this seed should be much more resistant to leaf diseases than any previous plantings of E. regnans in New Zealand.
Conditions Apply!
* Seed is offered for deployment within New Zealand only since trial results indicate the parents are well adapted to New Zealand conditions.
* Seed is sold on the condition that purchasers sign a contract to pay a royalty of 4 cents per propagule sold or used for personal use. The royalty is to help advance genetic improvement of E. regnans.
* Preference will be given to sales to Future Forests Research (FFR) members.
